Men & Skincare a Interesting Journey

Over the last century mens relationship with skincare has changed, we have gone from the soap and water treatment to the full anti-aging cream/botox/face lifts and the spa days and other beauty treatments. Quite a spectrum of change for the modern man some might say, again this is not a blanket assumption of all men as that is clearly not the case when you walk down the street. Never the less it shows that we all prepared to try things we may or may not like the idea of. If you go to a beauty salon (or Kosmetica) in Eastern Europe you will see men and women having their manicures, pedicures and faces steamed. The men are considered no less 'manly' as it purely a cleansing ritual the same as any other skincare regime. Now i'm not going to get into the particulars of masculinity as I could be here a while and this is not the platform for this type of discussion so.

The idea of face masks to some men is their girlfriends in some pink or other monstrous colour mask which then cracks and peels off, which is what you get with a good clay mask, the colours of completely natural masks are varied in colour from pure white to midnight black and every shade of green in between.

To me I see the colour of the mask as camouflage almost a soldier going into battle (as cheesy and probably inappropriate as it sounds). If you have particular skin symptoms then you can easily target them with a good mask to draw the toxins and cleanse the skin, whilst looking like Rambo - just be careful stalking round the house!

So maybe some of my Ready 2Go mask will find its way to you, if it does let me know what you think....

As I always say if you would like some guidance please send me an email or find me on Facebook or Twitter
